2021-present, I have a new home at Howe Sound Secondary. I am lucky to get to teach Dance, Drama, and English with some new, amazing humans in beautiful Squamish, BC.
BCDEA
I am vice president/acting president for the British Columbia Dance Teachers' Association. We connect primary, intermediate, and secondary dance educators. We create opportunities for dance educators across the province to connect, collaborate, continue learning, awards, and grants.
NLCS
For the 2020-2021 year, I was one of three dance teachers at North London Collegiate School in Jeju, South Korea. I taught key stage two, key stage three, and International Baccalaureate curriculum.
FHD
From 2003 - 2020, I was the dance teacher at Frank Hurt Secondary in Surrey, British Columbia where I built and ran an exciting Dance program.
I am one of the founders of the Surrey Secondary Dance Teachers’ Association which was a non-profit organization run by most of the Surrey Dance teachers. We organized and ran dance competitions and events for our students. Although we have disbanded the association, we continue to take turns running these events through our schools.
CHOREO
I have a Masters of Fine Arts in Choreography from the University of Jacksonville, Florida. I am obsessed with the idea of connecting the world through art.
